Brace.Amsterdam was born from a simple belief: sportswear should support you, not work against you.
Founded in May 2025 by Just Waalwijk, born and raised under the smoke of Amsterdam.
In May 2025, at 21 years old, I founded Brace.Amsterdam. Not because I wanted to start “just another” sports brand, but because during my own training I felt something was missing. I train mainly in running and the gym, and through those trainings I learned how important the right sportswear truly is.
Too often, I noticed that sportswear focuses more on branding and appearance, while comfort, fit and support come second. To me, that never made sense. Sportswear should move with you, stay comfortable, and push you forward through any workout. It should support you, not distract you.
That realization made me look at creating my own sportswear. I strongly believe that performance, comfort and aesthetics can exist together.
At Brace, we focus on combining high-quality materials, a functional fit and lasting comfort, with a strong focus on fit and style. Our products are primarily designed for runners and gym athletes, but made for anyone who values high-quality materials and a strong fit.
The goal is simple: to deliver strong, reliable products at the right price, while offering the right level of support from Brace towards our customers. From the first design to the moment you wear it, everything is built with intention.
